David was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, and attended the prestigious Law School at the University of Edinburgh, attaining an Honours Degree as a Bachelor of Laws.

Soon after graduating, David was headhunted by an overseas advisory firm, helping to build and develop offices in numerous locations throughout the world. David spent more than 10 years specializing in advising HNW and UHNW clients on a range on financial products covering both traditional and alternative investments.

David runs the consultancy firm DRC Ltd in Edinburgh which specializes in private debt, private equity and listed debt transactions covering a broad range of underlying asset classes.
